Mark R. Dubis

Mark R. Dubis has over 26 years in the automotive and transportation fields. He has worked in executive, management, and sales roles, developing marketing and e-Commerce strategies, web development projects, and other business development strategies.  As a co-founder of Carfolks, Mark saw a need to more accurately represent auto dealerships and sales professionals on the Internet. Carfolks was developed to provide more accurate information to consumers and help them connect with their local dealers.

He and his team provide marketing and strategic support to help organizations introduce new products, services, expand current projects and initiate strategies to build their customer and prospect base.

Prior to these activities he held the position of Editor of Digital Dealer Magazine, where he wrote-about the state of technology, eCommerce and strategies that helped dealerships advance their Web agenda’s. He also launched six weekly newsletters for Dealer Communications targeted towards the various departments in the dealership and re-designed their website for more robust content. Serving as the Interim Executive Director of the Automotive Association of Internet Sales Professionals (AAISP), he coordinated the first two AAISP Conferences in Nashville, TN. These set up the process that has continued for the highly successful Digital Dealer Conferences held twice a year.

Additionally over the years, Mark has worked for some of the largest automotive retailers in South Florida and then utilized his entrepreneurial skills by owning and managing his own vehicle leasing company for eight years. The South Florida Business Journal included his company, Arrow Motorcar on their list of the Top 25 leasing companies in the market.

Mark has also held executive positions in the financial services arena for two of the largest indirect-auto lending banks in the country, KeyBankUSA and National City Bank (Now PNC Bank). While working for these institutions he developed marketing strategies, online alliances, and some cutting edge Web sites for the banking industry.

At National City he developed, The National City Auto Channel. This was the first online automotive shopping portal hosted on a bank web site. It tied together the bank’s network of 3000+ auto dealers and promoted them to a potential customer market of four million households doing business with National City Bank  in the Mid-West.
